Steadfast in Biblical Truth: Embracing Unity amidst Theological Diversity

At Faith, Hope & Love Ministries (FHLM), we stand firm in our commitment to the unchanging truths of Christianity, as outlined in the Bible. While theological diversity may spark differing opinions and discussions, we remain anchored in the foundational tenets of our faith. Our focus is on promoting unity, compassion, and understanding among believers, transcending denominational divides. We believe in fostering a community where love, practical help, and support for one another reign supreme, echoing the essence of Christ’s teachings. By embracing unity and remaining true to the timeless principles of our faith, we endeavour to build a harmonious and empowering environment where ministers and students from diverse backgrounds can grow and thrive together.

Our Statement of Faith & Core Beliefs:

  • We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who created all things and calls us into loving relationship with Himself (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19).
  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, trustworthy and true, guiding us in all matters of faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son—fully divine and fully human—who lived among us, died on the cross, rose again, and offers salvation to all who believe (John 1:14; Romans 5:8; John 3:16).
  • We believe that salvation is a gift of grace, received by faith and not by works, and that everyone is invited to new life in Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9).
  • We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform hearts, equip believers, and build up the Church in love (Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–23).
  • We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to walk in unity, love, and service, bearing witness to Jesus in every place and generation (1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 4:4–6).
  • We believe that Baptism and Communion are outward signs of God’s inward grace—simple, powerful acts of faith and obedience that remind us of God’s love and presence (Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19).
  • We believe that Jesus will return, and that God will one day make all things new, restoring creation and bringing justice and peace (Revelation 21:1–5; Matthew 24:30–31).
  • We believe that faith is not just what we believe, but how we live—walking humbly with God, loving others, and sharing the hope we have in Jesus (Micah 6:8; James 2:17).
  • We believe that the Holy Spirit leads, comforts, equips, and empowers believers for prayer, ministry, and a life that reflects Christ (John 14:26; Romans 8:26–27).
  • We affirm the Nicene Creed as a faithful summary of the core beliefs of the Christian faith, uniting us with believers across time and tradition (1 Timothy 3:16; Jude 1:3).

The Nicene Creed

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father,
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
